The Crimson Laureate Society is a new group dedicated to promoting and advancing science and mathematics at the University of Utah.  Members advocate for science in the community, make their voices heard, and have access to exclusive benefits and recognition opportunities.

If you are passionate about chemistry, you know that chemical research drives the development of molecular processes that are important in energy, medicine, and our world.  The Crimson Laureate Society is a unique opportunity to share this passion with like-minded individuals and show your dedication to upholding the value that the chemical sciences provide to our community.

Your gift of $100 or more to the Department of Chemistry will grant you full membership in the Crimson Laureate Society this year, while your contribution will serve to strengthen the future of chemistry education and research at the University of Utah.

Join the Crimson Laureate Society Today!

Join today by donating to one of Chemistry’s key funding areas:

Undergraduate Scholarships (SC03327-40165)

Scholarships enable us to offset tuition costs, reward high-achieving students, and improve students’ quality of education.

Graduate Student Commons Room (SC03291-40165)

Renovating and furnishing a common space for first-year graduate students and beyond will strengthen the community of chemists at the U.

Grad Student Recruiting Awards (SC25171-40165)

Support for these awards improves our ability to recruit top graduate students, improving chemistry teaching and research at the U.

Curie Club (SC22551-40165)

The Curie Club provides travel awards, workshops, regular community events, and networking opportunities to support women in science.

If your passion is not listed here, the UGive website has many more ways to support the Department of Chemistry’s most important initiatives and programs! To discuss other ways you can give to the Department of Chemistry, please contact Heather Burkhart at 801-585-7896 or heather.burkhart@utah.edu.
